Through beautiful Andalusia to Alhambra

Olive trees and wheat fields
Mountains in a horizon

This figure was at first only a sign of  some brandy but then came  a symbol of Andalusia.

The was a moment behind  a cloud and gave a little wrong idea about the weather.
Getting Alhambra
Above the gate is a small statue of the Virgin Maria
Incredible decorations start and our necks and cameras were really working

It is difficult to imagine all work what those patterns have needed.

  1. Such a lot of restoration work has been done to the lovely Moorish architecture since we last visited in 1976. The palace has really come alive again. Thank you for your wonderful photos.

  2. Hi Leena! Sorry for the absence, but these last two months have been nasty! My mother (90) was in hospital for more than three weeks and the post-surgery was hard! My father (94) seemed to be an orphan while my mother was out and felt into some kind of depression… The economy is a disaster and the media only bring bad news… The € Euro is rescued every day, only to be known that it needs to be rescued again and again… What else? Well, maybe «Midnight in Paris»… The problem is that the Gil there is a different one… ;)Tha Alhambra is awesome!!Blogtrotter Two wanders currently around Porto Vecchio and the beaches in the region! Enjoy and have a wonderful week ahead!

  3. Hi Leena! There was something wrong with a comment I was posting on Gattina's blog and landed somewhere around here…Blogtrotter Two is spending a day at sea. Look forward to seeing you there!!Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Hi Leena! I’m so happy to be here after my accident ;)Blogtrotter Two is around Scandola now. Fabulous! Enjoy and have a great weekend!
